a) Has an investigation been conducted to determine whether there are pipes and/or hazardous substances in the work area?
b) Are slopes reinforced or support structures installed in case of a serious risk of landslides?
c) Is the driver familiar with ground conditions?
2. Do one or more transport routes need to be separated, marked, and made one-way for different special vehicles for specific traffic?
3. Is there a sufficient safety distance between pedestrian and vehicle traffic?
4. Are there procedures for dust control, such as regular irrigation of the transport routes if necessary?
5. Does the marking work even in fog and darkness?
6. Is the machine operator aware of what to do if they come into contact with hazardous materials in buildings or soil, such as asbestos, PCBs, mercury, or creosote?
7. Can the employee receive prompt assistance in an emergency when working alone, for example, via a mobile phone, communication radio, or alarm device?
8. Does working alone involve taking several breaks that provide contact with others or planned visits by someone else during work?
9. Do machine operators use personal protective equipment such as high-visibility clothing, safety shoes, and, if necessary, helmets and hearing protection?
