Description	The list is based on the following regulations
This checklist is suitable for use by managers and safety representatives in connection with minors performing work or when establishing a procedure for minors' work. It can also be used in an annual review of the work environment work. A minor refers to a person under the age of 18. A young child refers to a minor who has not reached the age of 13. Older children refer to minors who are not 13 years of age or older. A young person refers to a minor who has completed compulsory schooling and who turns at least 16 years old during the current calendar year.	AFS 2023:2 8§10

1. Is work done by minors?
2. Has the employer assessed whether the minor is not being engaged to perform work in a way that entails a risk of accident or of overexertion or other harmful effects on the minor's health or development?
3. Has it been established that the work is not prohibited based on the age of the minor?
4. Has a risk assessment been conducted for the work?
5. Should the work be carried out during the times permitted for the minor's age?
6. Has the need for a medical examination of the minor been clarified?
7. Has the safety representative been informed that a minor has been hired?
8. Have the guardians of younger and older children been informed of the tasks, their risks and any protective measures?
9. Has the guardian given their consent?
10. Does a minor work alone?
11. Has permission been sought from the Swedish Work Environment Authority for young children to participate in cultural or artistic activities, sports, and advertising events?
12. Do we know if older children in our business do not sell age-regulated goods or perform work that requires great responsibility?
13. Is it mandatory for minors to have at least 12 hours of continuous leave during each 24-hour period (daily rest)?
14. Is the minor entitled to leave of at least two days during each seven-day period?
15. Is the minor allowed to take continuous leave for 36 hours and is scheduled for the weekend?
16. Is the work of minors limited to a maximum of 8 hours per day and a maximum of 40 hours per week?
17. Has the minor received special introduction and information about their work and the risks that may arise from the work?
18. Is the minor's work carried out under supervision?
