Forestry – for work in a new area
This checklist is aimed at those who work in the forest and serves as support to more easily detect risks before starting work in a new area. Since the workplaces in the forest are usually temporary, the work environment varies from time to time. To avoid accidents, you therefore need to think twice before starting work. If you spot a risk, you need to know how to manage it; otherwise, the supervisor must be notified in order to take action. For those of you who are a managerial supervisor, feel free to use the checklist as part of your systematic work environment management (wem) by having your employees fill it in before starting work in the new area. The checklist serves as a risk assessment of the site and work and contributes to increased safety awareness among employees. The checklist is part of the training initiative Safe Forest Work, which Prevent is doing together with Green Employer and the GS union.
