This checklist provides examples of common work environment issues that may occur at a school, related to the premises and equipment. The checklist is intended to be used by the school leader together with the safety representative. You can choose to complete the entire list or parts of it. If you have a special focus on schools, note that Prevent also has checklists for other industries and topics that may be useful. The Chemistry Teachers' Resource Centre offers support material on chemical safety. Adapted schools and emergency schools may require special risk assessment.
