This checklist provides examples of common work environment issues that may occur at a workplace.

a) Are there enough people with training in first aid, such as L-ABC and CPR?

b) Is there the right equipment for the first aid needed?

c) Who is responsible for replenishing the first aid kit?

a) Are there procedures in place to prevent the spread of infection?

b) Is everyone trained on the risks of infection at work and how to protect themselves?

c) Does everyone know how to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer if there is a risk of infection?

d) Is everyone required to use disposable gloves when changing diapers, assisting with toilet visits, and handling vomiting?

e) Are there procedures and knowledge for safe handling of syringes if there are children who may need injections?
