Description	The list is based on the following regulations
When you hire out staff, you and the hiring company have a joint responsibility for the consultant's work environment. You and the hiring company must agree on who is responsible for what. Use the checklist to ensure that responsibility does not fall through the cracks. The checklist complements the risk assessment you conduct for your employees. It contains situations and risks specific to temporary workers. The simplified risk assessment that is always included in Prevent's checklists is optional in this checklist.

Before hiring a consultant

2. Have we received sufficient information about what tasks the consultant will perform?
3. Does the customer conduct systematic work environment work?
4. Has a risk assessment been conducted for the tasks to be performed at the customer's site?
5. Have we formed an opinion of the customer's work environment?
6. Does the consultant have the knowledge required for the tasks?
7. Should the consultant carry out work that requires specific training, qualifications, permits or "driving licences"?
8. Should the consultant perform tasks that require personal protective equipment?
a) Is it clear with the hiring company who is responsible for providing personal protective equipment?
9. Should the consultant perform tasks that require medical check-ups?
a) Is it clear with the hiring company who is responsible for medical check-ups?
10. Have we introduced the consultant to the tasks they will perform and informed them of any risks associated with the assignment?
11. Have we informed the consultant about who to turn to to ask questions about or point out risks in the work environment?
12. Have we informed the consultant about what support and contact they can expect from us during the rental?
13. Have we informed both the client and the consultant that no tasks that are outside the scope of the assignment may be added without prior approval by us?
14. Have we agreed with the customer on which procedure should apply in the event of any additional overtime?
15. Have we made it clear to the customer that we should be informed if an accident or serious incident has occurred?

During rental at the customer
