When you hire staff, you and the hiring company have a joint responsibility for the consultant's work environment. You and the hiring company must agree on who is responsible for what. Use the checklist to ensure that responsibility does not fall through the cracks. Your systematic work environment management should also include the consultant. In the checklist, the terms consultant and hired are used synonymously. The checklist complements the risk assessment you do for your employees. It contains situations and risks specific to temporary workers. The simplified risk assessment that is always included in Prevent's checklists is optional in this checklist.
