Description	The list is based on the following regulations
The checklist is used by the responsible manager for the investigation of the work environment. The safety representative should be involved, and employees should be included in the investigation as well as in the design and implementation of measures. This checklist should be used after Prevent's Checklist Agriculture - General, which contains sections 1. supervision and 2. workplace. This supplementary checklist, section 3, is available in several different designs depending on the production line.

Part 3. Machine gear trolley

1. Is the machine, tool or trolley CE marked or type-approved? (In most cases, a re-labelling approval is required for rebuilding.)
2. Is there a manual in Swedish with safety and maintenance instructions?
3. Are all the warnings on the machine, tool, or trolley in Swedish?
4. Have the staff received training and information on how to use it and any risks associated with it?
5. Is the OSA protection fully functional and operational?
6. Are there provisions for the protection of moving machine parts?
7. Do the brakes function properly?
8. Has the emergency stop function been functionally tested?
9. Are fire extinguishers available and regularly checked?
10. Does the tool or trolley have a sturdy support foot?
11. Are there any LGF or KM signs?
12. Are there lights and reflectors required when driving on the road?
13. Is there a rearview camera system available if visibility is obstructed?
14. Are the tow hooks and tow eye regularly checked to ensure that the hitch hooks are intact and that the hitch hooks have functioning locking?
15. Are towbar and tow eye repairs carried out by licensed welders?
16. Is the machine always switched off and the power source cut off during service and maintenance?
17. Are beams or similar used to block the platform if work takes place under a raised platform?
18. Must the machine and trolley always be connected and disconnected on a flat surface?
19. Are lighting reflectors used to highlight protruding loads or implements when driving on roads? (e.g. plough and harvester table.)
20. Are there communication options for the vehicle driver when working on or around a switched machine? (e.g. potato harvester.)
21. Is there an eye wash bottle as well as soap and water available when chemicals are used? (e.g. in spraying and silageing.)
